Thank you for spending a few moments with me. I'm Linda Close a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Florida and have over 12 years experience working as a mental health counselor. I hold a Masters Degree in Mental Health from FAU College of Education. I provide services in English for individuals, families, couples, and small groups.

I understand that every person needs respect, understanding and compassion which motivates me to provide a personal touch centered on your concerns and goals through a warm, comfortable, and friendly environment. We will focus on identifying your strengths, which will be a big part of your ability in overcoming obstacles and meeting your goals, your mental, emotional and relational needs to build skills to help you overcome and thrive.

You are not alone. Counseling is about processing and working through events and experiences with someone who can guide and nurture your own intuitive nature. My strength is in past traumas and parenting as those are the first and most impacting relationships. I will help you to build healthier ways to cope with and understand the dynamics of anxiety, depression, anger, apathy and other fears. If you wish to build a support structure in developing and maintaining meaningful and healthy relationships through boundaries, or simply need support to adjust to the unexpected ongoing experiences of being a part of the human race we can work there as well. In meeting your goals it is important for you to know that I believe in your ability to overcome whatever challenges you have in your life so you can move forward to live the life you desire.
