Lillie Barber is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) with a Masters in Social Work from Montclair State University. Her experience includes collaborating with the Division of Child Protection and Permanency as a supervised visitation specialist, as well providing therapeutic services to youth and young adults. Lillie has worked primarily with clients living with depression, anxiety, and trauma and utilizes ARC (Attachment, Regulation, and Competency) trauma-based framework, art therapy exercises, and other therapeutic techniques. Lillie believes the use of art therapy exercises gives clients a unique outlet to tap into their emotions in addition to talk therapy. Lillie’s goal is to create a safe and judgement-free environment for her clients to explore and understand themselves more. Lillie views therapy as a space where change and hope lives, as long as you’re ready to put the work in for yourself. A quote that Lillie lives by is “don’t count the days, make the days count.”
