Hi there, I'm Liliana! Hello! If you are exploring mental health treatment, you may be experiencing some difficulties in your life, and you're looking for help you sort through things, I want to help. Let me tell you a little about myself to help you decide if I may be a good fit for you. My name is Liliana Huichapan, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in California. I have over 17 years of professional experience, including Trauma, abuse, and criminal justice systems, both pre-trial and post-conviction. I've been providing psychotherapy for a wide range of issues and populations for the last 17 years in the following capacity: 12 years as a forensic therapist, 10 years as a Medical Social worker for a hospice agency, and 3 years as a combined hospital and dialysis social worker History of working with children, adolescents, and adults with diverse backgrounds. For the past 8 years, I have worked with adults in the State Prison system. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, Trauma, relationship issues, career challenges, criminal and destructive thinking patterns, and personality disorders. I would describe my therapeutic approach as Eclectic, which draws on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques. I treat everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion at the forefront of my practice. It is important that your voice is heard during the treatment planning and goal(s) development process. My goal is to create a safe space, free from judgment or rejection, for you to explore any challenges you may be facing and help you find new skills to deal with them.
