I am empathetic to the process of finding a therapist. The process can feel overwhelming and deciding who you are going to entrust with your story can be intimidating. However, at some point, we all have experiences that can leave us with feelings that are so heavy we can no longer carry them on our own. Asking for help can feel very vulnerable, but it’s a true sign of strength. It takes immense courage to acknowledge that you need help and to embark on the journey of getting to know yourself in a more intimate way.
I am a Licensed bilingual therapist with seventeen years of experience treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD and complex trauma in individuals of diverse backgrounds. I utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Attachment, Self-Regulation, and competency (ARC).
As your therapist, I will offer support, compassion and empathy. My approach is authentic, warm, relational and my focus is on creating a safe space in which you feel free to discuss your private thoughts without judgment. My greatest passion is to be a witness to the process of seeing clients achieve their full potential.
