Hi there, I'm Lidia Minerva! My name is Lidia Haefele and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the Riverside and Orange County area in California, and I am also working with statewide clients via Telehealth. I work with adults including veterans and active duty and specialize in addictions, anxiety, depression, trauma, difficult transitions, and any life challenges that can affect your ability to live a balanced and healthy life. I will use the therapy model that is more appropriate for you so you can start achieving your goals. My approach I use different approaches and usually what is more appropriate for the person I am working with as everyone is very unique. Some of the approaches I utilize in sessions are Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, Commitment Acceptance Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, and other Modalities that are the most appropriate for your situation. I believe every person can have a healthy, fulfilling, and balanced life. My focus I have been supporting people for about 7 years and out of those years, 5 of them have been in the substance use and addiction area. I have worked with youth, young adults, and older adults with substance use and/or mental health challenges. I am grateful for the experience I have had with different populations as this has nurtured me as a therapist but now, I am focused on working with adults (including veterans and active duty) who struggle with life challenges and difficult transitions that can present in many ways like anxiety, depression, and stress. My communication style My communication style is calm, understanding, and accommodating. I pride myself on being fully present and non-judgemental so you can feel comfortable sharing about yourself during our time together. Being bilingual allows me to have a very different perspective on life and how sometimes some things can be misinterpreted due to the language barrier and the difference between cultures.
