Hi! My name is Lida. I am an experienced therapist, licensed in the state of Maryland, who understands that the most powerful things in life are often the simplest: to listen attentively, with openness and compassion. I am committed to creating a safe, comfortable space where you feel free to be yourself.

In my 15 years as a therapist, I have worked with clients having a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, stress disorders, relationship issues, physical and emotional trauma, grief and loss, codependency, peer concerns and life transitions. I use an integrated approach that draws from many different sorts of therapy, including cognitive therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapy.

My clients say I am warm, engaging, knowledgeable, and quick to understand their concerns. You can expect me to walk with you through whatever difficulties you are facing and help you learn more about yourself, the way you interact with the world, and lead you to a happier life.

We can communicate in whatever manner you are most comfortable. Video sessions are a wonderful way to get to know one another more quickly, but I am available by phone or text as well. The majority of my hours are in the evenings and weekends, but I have some daytime hours on weekdays and I check messages frequently.
