I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, currently holding a state license in the state of Connecticut working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My specialties include addiction, child, trauma, anxiety, depression, and family conflict. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and families by supporting and advocating for families with children who have diagnosis such as, ADHD, Autism, Post-Traumatic Stress disorder, Attachment disorder, etc. Additionally, I have experience in working with first time parents and navigating the challenging aspects of becoming parent while establishing a healthy bond.
My experience also includes working with individuals who are seeking assistance for substance use and are looking to make a change within their lives. Change is not always easy, and at times may sound daunting to some, however I believe in meeting you where you are at in life and establishing achievable goals for yourself. As we go through phases of within our lives we may face many difficult and challenging times. During these times without wanting to or expecting to, we may find ourselves isolating from others or engaging in other unhealthy behaviors. However, there is hope to recreate and reestablish yourself. Whatever your circumstances are at this period of your life I am here to support and guide you through the process of achieving your goals and becoming your best self. Together, we will work as a team in order to form a trusted therapeutic relationship, where you as the client will have the opportunity to explore a variety of aspects within your life, both past and present. Therapy is not always easy, however if you here you have taken the steps to at least allow yourself to explore therapy as an option. I come equipped with a variety of creative therapeutic approaches to guide through the process while also individualizing each of our sessions to best fit your needs.
