I am Leticia Ball, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have been practicing therapy for over 14 years. I provide therapy using an eclectic, client-centered, Christian approach. My approach I have training in different modalities including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused, and many others. I am currently working on the EMDR certification and hope to be done within the next few months. My focus I have worked with many different age ranges and clients. I have experience working with victims of domestic violence and community violence, depression, anxiety, and PTSD. My communication style I offer a warm, caring tone to my environment. I am listening intently to what you are telling me. I like to ask questions to assist in looking at a different perspective. I provide psycho education. My journey to mental healthcare Being a therapist is my passion. What I love about it is that I get to listen to others in their good times and bad. I enjoy helping others to see a new perspective, learn a new skill, or hopefully help in breaking through a difficult time. My goals for you I think it is important to set some goals within the first to second session. I want to make sure that I am on the same page and offering the client what they are looking for in therapy. My first session with you The first session is very important as it sets the stage for future sessions. I introduce myself and go over therapy expectations, confidentiality, and consent for treatment. I like to get some history from the client. Also, it is important to have some direction in the treatment by setting some goals to work on and keep us focused on what is important for you.
