I am licensed in Alabama with several years of professional work experience. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Alabama. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, abuse, motivation, self esteem, grief, loss, phase of life changes, life stresses and confidence, & depression. I use Attachment-Based Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I use mindfulness practices, including meditation, relaxation skills and breath work. I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, seniors, couples, LGBTQ those of all cultural backgrounds, and veterans. I offer a holistic approach to mental and physical well being, tailoring my approach to individuals unique concerns. I'm dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment, conducive to facilitating healing and growth. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey. We will identify what issues are most important to you and create treatment plans together. Remember there's no right or wrong thing to talk about. I believe that healing is a collaborative endeavor that requires honest caring without judgement, and I cooperatively assist my clients in clarifying their goals for treatment.
