For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. In some seasons, we may live in abundance and safety, while other seasons bring distress or uncertainty. My goal is to help you learn, heal, and grow through whatever season you happen to be in with a focus on integrating wellness of mind, body and spirit.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and also a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) with over 8 years of clinical experience, I am a devoted mental health provider in eastern North Carolina. I have counseled individuals with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. I have also assisted individuals with rehabilitation and career counseling, walking with them through transitions over the life span.
I’m passionate about helping others achieve their desired outcome through increased self-awareness and self-acceptance. My theoretical orientation is eclectic with an emphasis on Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution Focused theory and Motivational Interviewing to help individuals achieve the change he or she desires. I believe no single theory can effectively treat all the different emotional, behavioral, and mental disorders. As a therapist, I will apply the best theoretical model based on your specific needs and issues.
