I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois with an extensive work history over 30 years within the Rockford Area and surrounding community; providing Counseling, Therapy, Case Management, Problem Solving and Solution Focused Treatments.

I have provided Clinical Social Work Services in a number of settings; local Community Mental Health Center, Hospitals, School Districts, Winnebago County Jail, Department of Veterans Affairs, Employee Assistance Programs and Group Practice.

I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Depression, PTSD, Anger Management, and Anxiety. I am a Certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist 12386, Qualified Cognitive Processing Therapy Provider. Have substantial training in Motivational Interviewing, Whole Health and Wellness Recovery Action Planning.

My treatment philosophy and beliefs are in line with the National Association of Social Worker Code of Ethics; primary responsibility is to promote the well-being of clients, treat each person in a caring and respectful fashion, mindful of individual differences and cultural and ethnic diversity. Engage people as partners in the helping process, respect and promote the right of clients to self-determination and assist to identify and clarify their goals.
