I am licensed in North Carolina as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), and I have been in practice since 2012 when I graduated from North Carolina Central University with a Masters Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My clinical experience ranges from community mental health, medical setting to private practice which includes working with diverse populations

I have training and experience in Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Resiliency Model, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavioral Theory among other modalities. I believe you cannot separate the body from the mind and spirit as I approach my work through a holistic framework.I have experience working with individuals suffering from trauma/abuse, anxiety, depression/mood disorders, addiction, relationship issues, and grief. Additionally, I work through an anti-oppression framework and support clients in healing from internalized oppression like racism, sexism, and homophobia and other forms of oppression.

I am passionate in supporting others in realizing their personal power, honoring their authentic self, and improving their relationships. We work in tandem, co-creating wholeness centering radical acceptance, mindfulness, and self-care. I bring curiosity, warm/non-judgmental care, and a holistic lens to our work together to support your growth and healing.
