My name is Lena and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. I graduated with a Bachelors in Social Work from Gordon College and a Masters in Social Work from University of Denver. I have worked in several clinical settings including residential, outpatient clinics, and in schools with various ages (adults and youth) and diverse backgrounds.
I work collaboratively with each client to determine individual needs and I believe in treating others with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Client-Centered, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I have experience working with individuals struggling with mood dysregulation, negative self-talk, anxiety, relationship/family concerns, life transitions, and trauma/abuse history.
