Hi there, Im Leisia Landers. Do you feel like you are losing control? Do you feel that you want to do better in your life but there are things from the past that are holding you back? Are you struggling in your relationships, work, and health? Is it hard to be kind to yourself or others? I secured an MSW, and BSW in Social Work from Western Kentucky University and an Associate from JCTC in Early Childhood Education. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2020 and a CSW previously since 2011. I am also, Kentucky Social Work Board approved to provide supervision to those seeking licensure since January 2023. I have a special interest in treating first responders, teens, adolescents, and families dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, family dynamics, substance abuse, couples counseling, military, intellectual/behavioral issues, grief/loss, juvenile offenses, adoption/foster care, deficits in coping skills, and anger management. I also, offer flexible scheduling and telehealth for those with hectic schedules. Leisia is trained in a variety of evidence-based practices including EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and CBT+ Substance Abuse for Teens, Grief Certification, and First Responders Certification. She is a Certified Grief Counselor and Certified First Responder Counselor. I was also previously the Assessor, Trainer, Program Administrator and Supervisor for the Kentucky DUI program and maintain those certifications currently. I currently reside in Glasgow, KY with her 6 dogs and have two sons and three grandchildren. And I absolutely love to line dance, shoot sporting clays, and loves to fish.
