About
My desire is to meet people where they are and help them to see that there is hope even when it seems that hope has faded. Whether a client is coming by themselves or with a partner/spouse, they need to be heard and valued. One of my passions is working with couples to help build strong and healthy marriages. I believe that healthy marriages help build healthy families which in turn build strong and vibrant communities. Understanding the role that communication, values, control, expectations, and fear play in our relationships is essential. Another passion of mine is working with individuals that struggle with anger, anxiety, and depression. These can seem overwhelming but with the proper coping skills one can learn how to deal with any circumstance. As a clinician, I spend a lot of time working on how we think because if we can change our thinking it will help to change our behavior and how we feel about situations. Ultimately, I strive to help clients discover a new perspective and realize that even in the hardest situations there is still hope.
