Lee King is Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Project Fernando, LLC. He received his B.A. in Individualized Studies with a minor in Business and a minor in Counseling from New Mexico State University. As he was pursuing his Master's in Criminal Justice at this university, he obtained a graduate minor in Women's Studies. Mr. King earned his Master's in Social Work with honors from Western New Mexico University. To become better equipped in helping others, Lee completed a Doctorate in Christian Counseling. He is an avid supporter of behavioral health and is recognized in New Mexico for his proven clinical and forensic practice. Mr. King has training and expertise in both clinical practices regarding substance abuse and administering behavioral healthcare programs. He was instrumental in implementing outpatient treatment programs and systems of care for underserved populations with a substance use disorder in New Mexico for Nava Counseling Services as their Chief Executive Officer for eighteen years. Before joining Project Fernando, Lee was the Program Director for a transitional living center for adults with a mental health disorder at Southwest Counseling Center.
