About

Hello there! My name is Leanna Park. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families through their toughest times, can celebrate with you through the good times, and be there with you through everything else in between. I can't wait to watch you grow as you meet your personal needs! My approach My approach is client-centered/person-centered. I will meet you where you're at, with unconditional positive regard, and empathy, and allow you to have a space to create the life you feel like you need and deserve. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to allow them to become the best versions of themselves along their therapeutic journey. My focus I find myself working with a wide range of clients. I have seen individuals, couples, and families throughout my career as a therapist. The conditions that I find myself comfortable working with are anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance use, and trauma. My communication style The tone and environment that is created in session with me are often focused on safety. I find myself highlighting the strengths of the client/family/couple in the "room" and allowing you to become comfortable with opening up in session with me. I like to emphasize the positive and point you in the direction of allowing you to see multifaced perspectives on the issues you're presenting in session. My journey to mental healthcare My career as a therapist started while I was working as a parademic. I saw many things that piqued my interest and allowed me to want to do further exploration into helping others and being able to see the connection between mental and physical health. Saving lives for me not only in a way of physical means but also mentally drives me further in allowing clients to get the best care possible. My goals for you My approach to goal setting is meeting the client where they are at and formulating goals that meet the needs of the client/family/
