About

You are worthy.

Hello :-)

I am Leana, a licensed therapist, whose practice is centered in a feminist, relational and psychodynamic perspective. My framework is grounded in trauma theory and centers on the resilience, expertise, and self-determination of my clients. I am attentive to the roles that individuals, institutions and systems play in our lives and healing. I use person-centered therapy, attachment therapy, expressive art interventions, and psychodrama in collaboration with clients to explore relationships to parts of self, others, identities, substances, and institutions.

My style includes creating a warm, safe, and attentive space for my clients to feel seen and heard. You can expect an experience where you are given opportunities to explore your inner world and find new ways to improve your quality of life. I am devoted to developing trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship & will meet my clients wherever they presently sit on the continuum of identity development, embodiment, and self-acceptance. I will support and challenge my clients, as they find new ways to approach their lives and the systems around them. I am deeply devoted to the empowerment of my clients and believe that therapy can be transformational.

“My dear,
In the midst of hate, I found there was, within me, an invincible love.
In the midst of tears, I found there was, within me, an invincible smile.
In the midst of chaos, I found there was, within me, an invincible calm.
I realized, through it all, that…
In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.
And that makes me happy.
For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.
Truly yours,
Albert Camus”
