I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working with adults ages 18+. I specialize in anxiety, depression, childhood and adult trauma, substance dependence, personality disorders, and severe and persistent mental illness. I have experience in mental health crisis, co-responding and have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. What is your approach to therapy? I am participatory, empathetic, down to earth, and honest. My therapeutic approach combines interventions of trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, humanistic, and person-centered as an integrative approach to help meet your unique needs. I offer a non-judgmental space to work through a wide array of issues including depression, anxiety, childhood and adult trauma, relationship conflict, addiction, mood disorders and other mental health concerns. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? Through a client centered approach, my first priority is to get to know you on a thorough and personal level. I can help you explore emotions relating to problems and teach you new ways of communicating, viewing the situation and managing your feelings. I will challenge you, when appropriate, to explore outside your comfort zone. I believe that as one becomes more aware of their thoughts, feelings and beliefs, they are more equipped with how to cope with issues and honor their individuality.
