My name is Leah Zonis, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California with 8 years of experience working as a therapist for adults, teens, families and couples. I work with clients on a wide range of challenges they are facing including: challenges with relationships, life transitions, career challenges, depression, anxiety, self-criticism/doubt, intimacy concerns, personal growth and insight and more.
My approach to therapy is engaged, empathetic, warm, and collaborative.  I am dedicated to providing culturally competent therapy with conscious attention to issues regarding religion, race, class, gender, sex, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, ability, age, and looks. My role as a therapist is to support clients in gaining a better understanding of the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves and how those stories might get in the way of leading our best lives. While working together, we will explore these stories with compassion and curiosity. By identifying and exploring how you view yourself, how you relate to others, and how you are able to respond to difficult circumstances, new opportunities for growth, power, and resilience will emerge.
