Welcome! My name is Leah and I have worked as a social worker in the field for 5 years. I have worked as a vocational counselor for people with disabilities, with families going through the foster care system, and with children in Title I schools. I have also worked in an inpatient hospital on the postpartum and high risk pregnancy floors, and at present work in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. My therapy style is fluid and engaging. I believe that people are experts of their own experiences, and that not every person has the same experience in a certain situation. My approach combines mostly cognitive-behavioral and humanistic. I will work with you to create a treatment plan that ensures we are meeting the goals you have, and we can update or change it as we go.
