Hello! My name is Lea Green, LMHC. I attained a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from SUNY Old Westbury. My psychotherapeutic approach reflects a belief that individuals are capable of committing to change when they learn to accept their struggles and identify their strengths. I am a committed and engaged psychotherapist who empowers her clients with supportive counseling that is tailored to the challenges and strengths of each individual. Whether I am treating a child, adolescent, or adult, I consider the unique goals, comfort level, and style of that person when choosing the tools and approaches used to reach them. Sometimes this simply looks like validation and supportive listening; other times, I employ an active, investigative stance with specific interventions and exercises. During every step of the therapeutic process, my goal is to empower my clients to make changes confidently and effectively.
