My name is Larry Quinn. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan and I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling from Central Michigan University. I’ve enjoyed counseling people for over nineteen years in my private practice, working in non-profit agencies, and facilitating Court-ordered educational presentations to divorcing co-parents.
In counseling, my therapeutic approach uses a “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy” (CBT) foundation and will often include aspects of “Solution-Focused Brief Counseling” and Mindfulness. I believe that, by working regularly with patients, they can begin to develop strategies, skills, and coping mechanisms that can help improve their conditions.
I am comfortable assisting patients who struggle with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, anger management problems, co-dependency issues, relationship issues, adjustment disorders, problem gambling issues and co-parent counseling (for divorcing or separating couples with children).
