I am a social worker and professional counselor with over 50 years experience working in a variety of psychosocial settings throughout the United States. I have worked with clients with a wide variety of concerns and issues, to include depression, anxiety, grief, post-traumatic stress, esteem issues, career challenges and others. Most of my clients were adults or seniors. I have worked with military personnel and /or their families and with civilians, in both rural and urban settings.

My counseling style includes cognitive-behavioral, rational-emotive, motivational, interpersonal psychotherapy, solution-focused therapy, grief processing, behavior management/lifestyle change, psycho education, effective communication techniques, among others. I believe that each individual's issues and perspectives are unique, and must be an integral part of a more comprehensive approach that identifies and addresses the problem.
