I am a licensed mental health counselor with over 20 years experience working as a counselor and life coach. I have helped people from many walks of life that are struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, Bipolar disorder, parenting issues, divorce and life changes.

Most people find me warm, friendly and a very good listener. However I am a counselor who keeps in mind why you are wanting help. I can help you clarify and set boundaries and goals. I will hold you accountable and identify any roadblocks from preventing you to achieve your goals. I am down to earth and easy to talk to. I may not understand exactly how you are feeling but I certainly try so I can help you to the best of my ability.

I practice an eclectic approach which could include DBT, CBT, and EFT. Throughout the counseling I use a client centered approach which just means I am here for you and where you are. If you are having distress that is preventing you from enjoying relationships and life in general, I might suggest EMDR which I am fully trained and can provide this virtually. I am willing to work with whatever issue you are having.

I was born and raised in Florida. I have three grown children, two grandchildren and three dogs. In my spare time I enjoy mixed martial arts, working out, ballroom dancing and spending time with my family and pets. I have climbed many mountains in my lifetime such as raising children as a single parent, family members and teens with substance abuse issues, divorce, death of parent to name a few. And after all that I can honestly say I am living the excellent life. Allow me to help you with the challenges you face.
