I am licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire with 22 years of professional clinical mental health experience. I have experience in helping children, adolescents, and dependent young adults with childhood developmental trauma, attachment disorders, and a history of child abuse and neglect. I am an EMDR and attachment specialist. I work with parents on parenting skills, especially for deepening attachment and connection, and I consult with and coach professionals on trauma-competent practice. Another of my specialties is alternative education and homeschooling coaching for parents and their kids to assist youths in finding an educational environment that meets their needs. Your child's symptoms are nature's alarms signaling that something in the child's environment is not meeting their holistic needs. Often, the greatest problem is that public schools are not meeting the needs of boys and active, kinesthetic learners. My role is to help you and your child get to the root cause of your child's behavioral, emotional, and learning challenges, and develop a holistic, whole-child plan for restoring homeostasis.
