About

“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful parts of us”. – David Richo

When the tidal waves of life stressors are coming at you and you feel like you are struggling to stay above water, where do you turn for help? When one event or a combination of events become too heavy to carry on your shoulders and you feel pulled down, how do you decide your next step? If these or other challenges are currently weighing on you, you have landed in the right place. My hope is that by coming in to therapy, you are entering in to a new phase of life filled with growth and healing. I agree to be that person who wades out into the deep waters and supports you through each crashing wave. I will help you swim through the chaos and find your path back to shore where you are able to firmly place your feet in the sand with confidence.

I am a licensed clinical social worker and certified clinical trauma professional, so in other words, I utilize verbal communication and natural energy bases to assist individuals with healing. When you come into my office, I will be joining you on your journey with an empathic ear and a motivating presence. I have experience working with a variation of populations; however, have found a lot of value in providing presence and support to clients as they walk through the pain and disarray of their past and current struggles. I have worked with frontline medical staff and families providing support during medical crises, supported military and corrections officers in processing the lasting effects of past incidents, provided partnership and advocacy for families who have been effected by domestic violence and supported adolescents and teens in various challenges associated with transitioning into adulthood.

There is nothing to fear in being wounded. I have walked through hard things with many people and they have found the best parts of themselves in the places they were previously avoiding or terrified to acknowledge. I want to offer that same opportunity for healing to you. I have listened to hard things and stayed present through the difficult pain. If you are wondering if someone out there who can hear your story, stay in it with you, and walk beside you to the shore. The answer is yes.
