About

I am a mental health counselor licensed in New York with over three years of experience working as a therapist and advocate for crime victims. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, PTSD, and domestic violence. I have also worked with many clients who have experienced trauma and/or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is warm and collaborative. I make sure to meet my clients where they are at, and encourage taking the time to build a rapport with my clients to create the most comfortable environment possible. I believe that treating all clients with respect and empathy while being non-judgmental is of the utmost importance.

I use a few different approaches to therapy depending on the needs of the individual. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) techniques can be extremely beneficial and I will use these throughout interactions. Although video sessions are not my preferred modality, I am happy to provide this service as well!

Seeking out additional support to work through any concerns or struggles you may be experiencing takes a lot of courage and bravery.
