About

I am a licensed professional counselor as well as a licensed addiction counselor in the state of Colorado. I received a BA in Psychology from Fort Lewis College and a MA in Counseling from Regis University. Since graduating from Regis, I have primarily worked with at risk youth and their parents. I have done this in both residential and community settings. I have worked with both adults and youth on various challenges such as: substance use, bullying, building self-confidence, parenting issues, communication skills, depression, and anxiety. I have experience with individual, family, and couples counseling.

My therapy style is collaborative, strength-based and goal oriented. I truly believe that therapy is a working relationship and the client is the expert on their experience. I believe that everyone deserves respect and compassion and my person-centered approach helps facilitate this. My therapeutic approach also includes a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing.

Therapy can be a great start to making a change and living a more full life. I am here to support and encourage you throughout this process.
