I have been working in the counseling and social services world for over 6 years. I have worked with people from many different backgrounds and situations in my career thus far and always feel honored to be some small step of their journey. I have done in home counseling in rural and urban areas, provided counseling and case management to pregnant and parenting teens, facilitated group therapy at an Eating Disorder clinic and provided crisis counseling to people with moderate to severe mental illness.

My primary focus is helping my clients figure out what works for them. I am a genuine and practical person who doesn't believe in a "one size fits all" approach because everyone is different! I often use a CBT approach to help clients understand what beliefs might not serve them anymore. From there, I hope to give the client some tools to adjust how they react to the world around them. This is no easy task but one that's definitely worth it.
