Hello! My name is Lauren Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. I am a California native and lived there most of my life until recently. I obtained my Masters and Bachelors degrees in Psychology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

I commend you on making the decision to begin counseling. Life is a struggle for everyone at some point and every single person can benefit from therapy. It takes a great deal of strength to recognize those times when you may be needing some extra help. My goal in treatment is to give you the support you need to face those challenging times and help you learn how to get through them in a healthy, positive way that will lead to a more fulfilling life.

Every client will receive treatment that best suits their needs, but my therapeutic style tends to be cognitive-behavioral or solution focused. I enjoy working with clients to discover how negative patterns of thinking can lead to problematic behaviors and how changing the way we think can change behaviors. I also work with clients to identify their strengths and coping skills to assist them in managing everyday stress.

Being a therapist is my passion and is something I have always known I wanted to do. I have enjoyed a career working with adolescents, adults, and couples who are dealing with depression, anxiety, anger difficulties, ADHD, parenting issues, family conflicts, divorce, abuse, and the everyday stresses of life. I look forward to working with you and supporting you through any challenge that you may face.
