Let me help you get to know me better! My clinical journey began during my studies at Pennsylvania State University (We Are!) in Psychology and Sociology. From there, I earned my Masters of Social Work from Marywood University and soon after founded my own outpatient therapy practice, Seasons of Strength. As a therapist and Licensed Social Worker, my mission is to provide you with excellent therapeutic care as you reach your wellness goals. As a clinician, I employ therapy techniques from strongly supported evidence-based methods, such as Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Additionally, I am trained in Eco-Systemic Family Therapy (ESFT), which helps me understand your life story in a systemic context. My specialization is EMDR therapy . EMDR is an approach that addresses the physiological storage of memory and how it forms experiences. Change occurs when the links to those memories are transformed. I integrate EMDR therapy into many aspects of my work to help people address painful, unhelpful memories that hold them back from a life worth living. I’ve helped people from all over the state overcome emotional difficulties and life challenges, such as: Depression Anxiety and stress Abuse Divorce, separation, or breakup Trauma and PTSD Eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, etc.) Relationship problems Hopelessness and helplessness Loneliness and isolation And much more
