About

I am a licensed clinical social worker. I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from Wesleyan University and obtained my graduate degree in social work from the University of Akron.

I have experience working with a wide range of disorders including chronic illness, somatic symptoms, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, developmental delay, adjustment disorder, conversion disorder, psychogenic non-epileptic seizures, school/employment difficulties, bullying and parent-child conflicts.

I use multiple approaches during each session including cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy to help meet each client’s goals. One of my biggest strengths is developing rapport with each client I serve. I try to provide an inviting environment for the client to freely express their emotions. I’ve gained knowledge on building connections through my time spent providing psychotherapy, working in a hospital inpatient setting and coaching sports.

I understand starting therapy can be anxiety provoking. I hope to provide a warm, genuine and nonjudgmental atmosphere, to help each client feel comfortable.
