Hello!

My name is Laura and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas. My experience as a therapist includes working with individuals with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflict, and parenting. I am also experienced in helping individuals recover from trauma and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

My counseling style is centered on my clients’ individual needs. I provide a warm and comforting environment to establish trust and rapport with each person I work with. I empower clients to have control over the counseling experience and encourage them to identify their goals early on so we can measure progress together. I enjoy helping clients to see themselves in a different light and make changes to lead a more happy, purposeful life. I tend to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and EMDR the most in my practice with adults.
