Hi there!

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (in VA, DC, and OH) with four years of professional experience working with severely and persistently mentally ill individuals, individuals with substance use disorders, and co-occuring disorders. I have experience treating clients who live with the following diagnoses: PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, bipolar disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia, substance use/abuse (alcohol, cocaine, heroin/opiates, marijuana, illicit benzodiazepines), and history of suicidal ideation/attempts. I prefer to utilize a variety of treatment approaches, depending on client needs. My approach is always client-centered; I encourage my clients to identify goals and I feel that meeting them where they are is the best starting point. From there, I will utilize trauma-focused CBT, DBT, or Motivational Interviewing (or a combo of those!) depending on the concerns/needs. I'm happy to help you navigate the challenges that arise in your life with empathy, honesty, and sincerity.
