About

I am a person centered therapist, that means that this is your therapy and you are in charge. I offer traditional talk therapy, however, I feel based on my experience and training that it can be very helpful to use interventions such as Brainspotting, EMDR, EFT, Mindfulness, Family Constellations, IFS and other therapeutic modalities to truly help you gain more peace, contentment and reach your desired potential and goals. I have experience in community mental health, medical social work, domestic violence/women’s issues, Hospice social work and sexual assault/crises. I have degrees in nutrition and education, I am in Yoga teacher training, and have a Master's Degree in Social Work. I am spiritual and Reiki trained. I live with my partner of 20 years and our four furry children. I live in Lake Tahoe. I have lived in Oregon and Hawaii. I am born and raised in Southern California.
