I am licensed in Alabama with 4 years of professional work experience. I graduated from Troy University in 2018 with my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, and then obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Troy University the following year in 2019. Throughout my time as a social worker I have been able to gain experience from working in the hospital setting (to include the areas of medical discharge planning, behavioral health services, grief counseling, mother and infant needs, community resources, etc), substance abuse counseling (serving as a counselor for clients at a long-term residential treatment center), and in children and family services (working in the therapeutic foster care setting). I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
