I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), who has had five years experience in a variety of counseling settings. I graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 2017 with Honors. I was an active member of Chi Sigma Ioata honors Society throughout my Master’s program. I have had experience Inpatient and Outpatient settings while under supervision and gaining licensure. I offer individual, child, and family counseling. I utilize a trauma informed holistic approach to counseling. I have certification in Seeking Safety evidenced based treatment for PTSD and Substance Use. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to focus on client understanding of how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are related to dysfunctional behavioral and thought patterns to prompt change in unhelpful negative thinking patterns and unhelpful behaviors the client may be using to cope. I provide a holistic approach to counseling by addressing your physical, mental, emotional, social, spiritual needs, and have a Wellness Coach Certification. I use a variety of evidence based therapeutic techniques that include cognitive-behavioral, narrative, solution-focused, psychoeducational, trauma-informed, mindfulness, and more tailored to meet client individual and unique needs. I promote growth by offering a safe, accepting, nonjudgemental atmosphere that will allow the client to feel heard, validated, and empowered to gain the confidence needed to discover their own healthy solutions and coping skills to improve health, wellness, and optimal wellbeing to allowing them to embrace a better quality of life.
