Hi, I’m Laura. I work with clients who have felt like “misfits” all their lives. Relationships can be tough and unsuccessful despite my clients’ earnest intentions. Folks come to me when they have put in relentless effort to feel happy, successful, and content. However, for some reason their efforts have left them feeling lonely, hopeless, insecure, and even angry. My approach thrives within a longterm, consistent therapeutic relationship built upon trust, transparency and commitment. Technically, my approach is client-centered, integrative and relational.

Did you know that it’s not necessarily modality, theory or “therapeutic approach” that best predicts your healing? Nope. The greatest predictor of healing is actually the quality of the therapeutic relationship you build with your therapist. In other words, therapy works best if you like your therapist, if you are a good fit, you feel at ease in their presence.
