Welcome! Your decision to start therapy is a significant positive step toward coping with life obstacles and embracing wellness in your day-to-day life. To introduce myself, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and have a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. It is my mission to help my clients via collaboration. This means my clients and I focus on issues that are a priority to them, based on their values and what they believe will lead to an authentic, healthy life. My style is trauma-informed and "integrative" with several different approaches combined: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Existential, SAMHSA's Eight Dimensions of Wellness, and other techniques. In my philosophy, counseling is like working on a puzzle together. You have the puzzle pieces and ability to accomplish what you need. But perhaps I may show you a way to rotate a puzzle piece or or how to use a tool. While it is important to acknowledge what a client wants to change, I strongly believe in emphasizing the person's personal strengths and using said strengths to help achieve the client's goals.
