Hello! My name is Laura DiPette and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Houston, Texas. I received my Masters degree in Family Therapist from University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2008 and have 12+ years experience working with many different populations in many different settings.

I have worked in inpatient hospitals to non profit agencies to school based therapy for older teens and young adults. I enjoy working with young adults and adults going through life transitions, parenting, relationship issues, anxiety and depression.

My therapy style is very relaxed. I like to meet the client where they are at and use solution focused therapy to provide brief, goal oriented counseling. I utilize many cognitive behavioral therapy approaches along with a family therapy lens. I have been trained in trauma informed counseling as well and only utilize evidence based treatments. Each client I meet with will have an individual treatment plan that we come up with together.
I acknowledge and honor that it takes a lot of courage to reach out to someone yo udo not know and will make every effort to make counseling easier for you.
