I have been licensed as an MFT for the past 10 years, and for the past 7 of those years I have been working for an insurance provider helping members who struggle with depression, anxiety, problematic relationship with food, negative body image, and eating disorders. In the past 1.5 years, the prevalence of members struggling with an increase in anxiety, depression, and eating disorders has greatly increased, and I believe that I have the ability and skills necessary to offer additional support to those in California seeking it. I am always seeking to grow as a therapist in finding new ways to help others improve distress tolerance, access their existing strengths, and identify their values to support them in leading a happy, healthy, meaningful life. One of my main beliefs as a therapist is that many struggling with anxiety and depression have lost sight of their values and goals, and that paired with a lack of distress tolerance skills has resulted in poor mental health. Our thoughts create our reality, and I am looking forward to working with those who would like help channeling the power of those thoughts, finding their inner strengths, and moving in the direction that brings them hope and fulfillment.
