Welcome! I'm glad you're here. My name is Laura, and I am a professional mental health counselor, behavioral scientist, and counselor educator. Day to day, I love to work with clients across the lifespan from various diverse populations. I take great pride in approaching care from a person-centered approach. This means that I work to understand your world, see it as you do, and walk with you to navigate the season that you are in. Often, I meet people in the most painful, lonely seasons of their life, and I find that the relationship we build together is instrumental in beginning to heal wounds, hold and new. I am passionate about social justice and diversity, and work hard to understand and witness the varying identities that people hold, most notably oppressed identities. If you are looking for a non-judgmental, deeply empathic counselor to witness your struggles and triumphs and walk with you as you get closer to the person that you want to be and life that you want to live, I may be a good fit for you.
