As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts, I have been providing individual, family, and group therapies for 9 years. I have experience working with individuals with a wide variety of struggles, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal ideation, interpersonal problems, and individuals who have difficulty regulating their emotions for a variety of reasons, and enjoy teaching them how to regain control of their emotions and their lives. I am extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and enjoy helping individuals cope in the world they live in, through behavioral and acceptance skills. Recognizing the importance of feeling emotions, I work to help individuals learn how to understand and respond to their feelings in an effective way. I come from a warm and validating place as I help clients to recognize what is getting in the way of building their life worth living, and help them to move forward positively.
