Laudan received her Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Maryland. She has experience working at inpatient Behavioral Health units and has learned a great deal about different mental disorders and symptomologies as well as diverse treatment modalities. She also has experience working with the child victims of abuse/neglect and is familiar with the child welfare system. As a psychotherapist, Laudan tends to provide a supportive environment to help clients work through their feelings, overcome unresolved issues from their past and address the underlying causes of current problems to improve the overall quality of life. Laudan enjoys working with international clients who may be dealing with difficulties of adjusting culturally to living in the US and is very familiar with struggles that first and second generation of immigrants may face. Besides English, she speaks Farsi.
