I am La'Toya Thomas, and I'm a native of Vicksburg, MS. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in MS and TX. I attended THEE Jackson State University, where I obtained my BSW degree in 2003. I went on to attend Syracuse University, where I obtained an MSW degree in 2004. I am an experienced clinician with 18 years of experience. I am experienced with various treatment modalities, but I love using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness Therapy. I have worked in various fields of social work, including mental health, gerontology/aging, adolescents/teens, substance abuse, hospice, and home health settings. I was purposed for social work. Therefore it's more of a CALLING than a job. Lastly, I am passionate about the work that I do and have a motto in which I live by. If I can help somebody as I pass along, then my living shall not be in vain. I look forward to connecting and navigating life with YOU!
