My approach to therapy is to help individuals develop the necessary skills to overcome life’s challenges and create healthier lifestyle patterns. My therapeutic orientation is rooted in psychodynamic theory with a focus on attachment patterns and relational concepts. This approach helps individuals make sense of their life and improve their overall quality of life.
I earned a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) from Institute for Clinical Social Work in Chicago, IL and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from University of Maryland at Baltimore. I also hold a Certificate of Integrated Behavioral Health in Primary Care from University of Michigan which allows me to help individual understand the connection between physical and emotional heath.
