Everyone will feel that they need help at some point in their life. The good new is, there is help for those that reach out for it.

I am a woman of color who has worked as a Professional Counselor for more than 9 years. I have worked with youth, adults, couples, and parents in my professional career addressing issues ranging from mental health, family conflict, parenting, grief, abuse/trauma, and more. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation to a good therapeutic outcome. I currently work within an acute hospital setting providing therapeutic treatment to clients that struggle with severe mental health disorders. I have also worked in an outpatient setting providing therapeutic treatment to clients with less severe concerns.

I firmly believe that you are your own expert and whatever is preventing you from reaching your full potential can be addressed and resolved with some support from a professional counselor. I take a holistic approach which means every aspect of you must align for you to be the best person you can be in all aspects of your life. Each one of us has the ability within us to reach self actualization; however, the roadblocks we face may be different. I look forward to working with you as you remove these roadblocks and move forward towards achieving the goals and aspirations you have for yourself.

The decision to enter into counseling is never taken lightly and can in itself cause anxiety. You may be hesitant and experience self-doubt. I would encourage you to consider such a decision as the first step to a new beginning towards a better life. Shall we begin?
