Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and earned my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina (2008). I am also certified as a Master Addictions Counselor (MAC), with the National Association of Forensic Counselors. I specialize in treatment for substance use disorders and have spent the past decade working to support our nation's Heros. I worked for both the Department of Defense and Department of Veteran's Affairs since 2010. I have worked the professionally and on a volunteer basis as a victim advocate since 1997. I have a strong commitment to supporting those who have survived Intimate Partner Violence.

My favorite modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Substance Use Disorders, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy. These options lend themselves to person-centered treatment, which allows the client to lead the way. My approach to treatment is to create a partnership, that is client-centered and empowering.
