About

Hi Everyone,

My name is Larry Rimbert Jr. LCSW, LCADC. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol Drug Counselor (LCADC) through the NJ State Board of Social Work Examiners & NJ State Board of Marriage & Family Therapist under the Division of Consumer Affairs. I have 20 years of professional work experience as well as 15 years as a certified/licensed clinical professional.

I have extensive clinical experience in providing mental health/addiction treatment with clients suffering from the following disorders: Co-occurring Disorders (mental health & substance abuse), MDD (Major Depression Disorder) Bipolar Disorder, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), BPD (Borderline Personality Disorders), stress and anxiety, relationship issues, Anger Management, and the SPMI population (Severely Persistently Mentally Ill: Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Psychotic Disorders) through CMHC 's (Community Mental Health Centers) as well as working with the diverse forensic/NGRI (Not Guilty Reason of Insanity)/Megan's Law population diagnosed with APD (Antisocial Personality Disorder) and NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder) through the Federal BOP (Bureau of Prisons) and state psychiatric forensic hospitals in New Jersey.

My clinical approach in providing therapy specializes in the following evidence based practice models: DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy); CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Anger Management, Transtheoretical Model (The Stages of Change), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. Over my career, I have been fortunate to work with a diverse population by helping them develop an open and safe environment where inner thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment through fostering a healthy therapeutic alliance for healing. It takes true courage to give yourself "permission" to seek out a more fulfilling life by exercising your personal rights for freedom for innner peace within "self".

In closing... I wanted to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to seek out a suitable healthcare provider to assist you with your mental health needs in order to obtain a greater quality of life.

Best,
